New mobile version of Pension Wizard

Seven years on, today at Finovate, they have announced the new mobile version of their Pension Wizard advice application, offered to employers and deployed to employees to support them with their workplace pension. 

 The team, including Wealth Wizards Chief Executive Andrew Firth and Chief Technology Officer, Peet Denny, showcased their new, designed for mobile version of the Pension Wizard to the Finovate audience. They presented what a user is on track for and how to maximise income through pensions and other sources of retirement income. The intent to deliver a holistic approach for employees was clearly indicated with the application, checking for the existence of high interest debt and affordability as part of the regulated advice journey, as well as the pension contribution levels.

The application has just one question per screen, simple navigation, plenty of visualisation and the ability for the user to play out different scenarios. The Wealth Wizards team have developed clear signposting through the advice journey, and shortcuts such as pre-filled personalised data taken from HR and payroll to enhance the customer experience. From an employer’s perspective, Pension Wizard provides rich and action oriented management information, allowing employers to identify potential employee hotspots (at an aggregate level), including the proportion who will not be able to afford to retire and those without savings buffers, as well as a rigorous audit trail to satisfy regulatory requirements. 

Denny also covered the Smart Platform technology upon which the applications run, stressing its flexibility and ease of integration, whether clients are seeking an off the shelf solution or to pick and mix micro services.
